If you were to shoot against a backdrop of water surfaces and office buildings, what kind of outfit would you pair with it?

"COSSAN at Yokohama Tennocho" will be held on Sunday, November 22, at Yokohama Business Park. This is the 3rd edition at this venue, announced by the organizer on October 22. The name has changed from the former "COSSAN at Yokohama Business Park."

Locations introduced in the official announcement include "Bellini Hill" and the "Water Hall." It makes you want to think about cool photos that make use of the architectural lines, as well as photos combining the waterfront and greenery❣️

Check Your Desired Backdrops and Accessible Areas

The official guide introduces Yokohama Business Park as a location featuring buildings, greenery, and waterfronts all together. Searching for a backdrop that matches the colors of your outfit sounds fun too.

In the official event guide confirmed on November 6, in addition to Yokohama Business Park, "Hoshiten qlay" located between Hoshikawa Station and Tennocho Station is also introduced as a city walk area. You cannot enter train station premises, residences, or off-limits areas.

Outdoor photography areas at Yokohama Business Park exclude the NORTH area and Megalos. Inside dining establishments in PREZZO, photography is smartphone-only, and even among shops you can enter, the conditions for cameras, video, and equipment are not identical. Care is also required regarding framing angles and shooting directions so that members of the general public are not captured in an identifiable state.

An official guide summarizing shops at YBP has been published. Meanwhile, food and rest area information for Hoshiten qlay was listed as under preparation. For places you wish to use, prioritize checking the day-of map, on-site signage, and guidance from facility and store staff.

Videos cannot be filmed freely either. Under COSSAN's general participation rules, video recording and audio recording are prohibited in principle, and if permitted at certain venues or projects, it will be stated on each event page. Do not assume you can record video in the same scope as still photos without checking individual permission conditions.

(Being able to enter a store and being able to take photos with a camera you brought in are two different things, aren't they?)

Participation Tickets Differ in Categories for Those Changing Clothes and Those Taking Photos

The official page provides guidance on changing room tickets for cosplayers and tickets for photographers/networking. You choose the ticket type suited to your participation method and apply after checking sales status and terms of use. Since the availability of same-day tickets cannot be confirmed from the public pages checked this time, do not assume you can buy one on the spot on the day, and please check the official guide before attending.

Changing room tickets come in Regular and Premium, while general photographer/networking tickets cannot use the changing rooms. If you plan to wear a costume, you will want to verify the category of the ticket you purchase beforehand.

There is a luggage storage area inside the changing rooms, and its use is included in the participation fee. Both the reception and the men's/women's changing rooms are listed at "Bellini Hill Gallery," but attendees are instructed to always confirm the location of the changing rooms at reception.

Reception Closes at 16:00, Photography Until 17:30

In the organizer's event guide, the event runs from 11:00 to 18:00. Premium ticket holders can use the changing rooms from 10:30, and the start of use for regular tickets is 11:00. Line formation is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the ticket time, and attendees are advised not to gather earlier than that.

The closing times for reception and photography should also be considered separately. Reception is 11:00 to 16:00, photography ends at 17:30, and the event ends at 18:00.

Times for COSSAN Yokohama Tennocho on November 22. Premium changing rooms open from 10:30, regular start at 11:00. Reception from 11:00 to 16:00, photography ends at 17:30, and event ends at 18:00.

(So you can't just keep shooting all the way until 18:00, right?)

You will want to leave plenty of time between your final photo shoot, changing clothes, and picking up your luggage.

Sunday Access: Watch Out for the Shuttle Bus

According to Yokohama Business Park's official access guide, walking time estimates are a 4-minute walk from Tennocho Station YBP Exit on the Sotetsu Line, a 7-minute walk from Hoshikawa Station South Exit, and an 11-minute walk from JR Hodogaya Station West Exit.

These walking figures represent the travel time from station buildings or similar points to the nearest property boundary, not from ticket gates. Since distances to individual buildings within the grounds also vary, do not assume you will "arrive at reception in 4 minutes," and make sure to allow time for traveling to the gallery.

A free shuttle bus from Hodogaya Station is also introduced, but according to the official guide, it is suspended on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Since the event date of November 22 is a Sunday, you will want to decide your route without relying on the shuttle bus.
